Stephanie Atkinson

Stephanie is an undergraduate student studying Polymer and Color Chemistry with a minor in Biological Sciences. She is researching azo dye photodegradation under the supervision of and carrying on the legacy from Ciera Cipriani. Stephanie does molecular modeling under Dr. Melissa Pasquinelli with experimental data gathered when working under Dr. Vinueza. Stephanie uses microfluidics and liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry to analyze photodegradation products of azo dyes in solution. She is extremely passionate about her work and hopes to continue the project throughout her undergraduate career.
