Dr. Yixin Liu
Bio
Yixin Liu is a PhD in Fiber and Polymer Science. He graduated in april 2020.
He received his MS degree in 2016 majoring in Textile Chemistry from Wilson College of Textiles, NC State University. His MS research topic was “Dimerization of Heterobifunctional Reactive Dyes”. He started his PhD study since 2016 at Wilson College of Textiles, NC State University, worked on reduced-graphene based circuits and supercapacitors on textiles. Now he is working on investigating the mechanism of low percentage waste of reactive dye-based digital printing.
Dr. Vinueza is his co-advisor, they are trying to use LC/MS techniques to characterize the different dye forms from digitally printed textiles.
